Details of the Position: Actualidad Radio is looking for an energetic, organized, and outgoing professional to lead the station’s promotions, events, activations, and market presence.

This is a hands-on, client-facing position responsible for coordinating and executing promotional events, working directly with clients and vendors, and ensuring Actualidad Radio maintains a strong and visible presence throughout the South Florida market.

The role also supports the Sales team by identifying potential advertisers, sponsorships, and business opportunities while building relationships with local businesses and community organizations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, comfortable working both in the office and in the field, and experienced in promotions, events, media, marketing, sales support, or community relations.

Job Responsibilities: Promotions & Events
• Coordinate and execute client remotes, on-site activations, station events, and community appearances.
• Manage event logistics, vendors, promotional materials, and staff.
• Work directly with clients before and during promotional events.
• Coordinate with Sales and Programming to ensure successful execution.
• Identify events and opportunities where Actualidad Radio should have a presence.
Sales Support
• Identify potential advertisers and business opportunities while actively working in the market.
• Generate leads and introductions for the Sales team.
• Identify sponsorship and promotional opportunities for existing and prospective clients.
• Build relationships with local businesses and organizations.

Market Presence
• Coordinate the strategic use of Actualidad Radio's promotional vehicles.
• Identify high-traffic and high-impact locations for station visibility.
• Maintain a calendar of promotional, business, and community opportunities.
• Look for creative and cost-effective ways to keep Actualidad Radio visible throughout South Florida.
Community Relationships
• Develop relationships with Chambers of Commerce, municipalities, business associations, universities, nonprofits, and community organizations.
• Represent Actualidad Radio at selected business and community events.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in promotions, events, media, marketing, sales support, or community relations.
• Strong organizational and event-coordination skills.
• Comfortable working directly with clients, vendors, and the public.
• Outgoing, proactive, and able to build relationships naturally.
• Knowledge of the South Florida market.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and activations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Radio, media, or entertainment experience is a plus.

Education Background: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
