FOX 35 Orlando, a FOX O&O in beautiful Orlando, FL has an immediate opening for a dynamic, creative, senior producer to Lead the weekend team. This is a perfect position for an experienced producer to manage the editorial content, staff for assigned newscasts and web site and social media platforms. The Senior producer supervises the activities of the weekend news staff according to company policy and guidelines. Help team members process and prioritize information clearly and accurately in a stressful, fast-paced, and distracting environment that includes deadline pressures and breaking news. Ability to exercise discretion, judgement and solid journalistic/ethical decision making by selecting, creating and producing stories/newscast that are clear, meaningful, accurate, fair and creative. Gather, verify and prioritize information to ensure sound news decision-making. Work with reporters, photographers and assignment editors to identify the best elements of stories for promotion. Monitor wire services, news feeds, digital and social media to ascertain relevant stories for inclusion into newscasts, on the web and on social media.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight from management to communicate goals and assignments to newscast team. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paces environment. Supervisory experience a plus. This position supervises Producers and Associate producers. Minimum of 3 yrs experience as producer in major market or news manager in a smaller market. College degree in an applicable discipline such as broadcast journalism or communications. WOFL FOX 35 is looking for a strong, creative, take-charge producer who has a vision for the newscast and knows how to turn a plan into remarkable television. Candidates must be aggressive, decisive, and creative. We are looking for someone with stellar news judgement who owns big stories and wins breaking news coverage. The successful candidate must think big and communicate effectively with everyone on the team. The candidate must also be assertive yet calm under pressure.
As a newscast producer, you must be passionate about local news and delivering exceptional television broadcasting to the market. Our news producers are responsible for daily production of newscasts within specific time constraints. Candidates must be able to create rundowns, craft segments, work well under pressure and deadlines. Level of performance requires a superior command of grammar and broadcast news-writing style. Must be familiar with and able to log and edit video for inclusion on scripts. Responsible for production of stories – everything from setting up the story, to interviews, to writing and editing features, and coordinating graphics. Responsible for editorial decisions and/or changes made in the control room while the newscast is on the air. Communicates via IFB to provide producer direction and talent instruction to crews in the field and in studio. Collaborate with executive producers. Coordinate with web/social team to coordinate coverage for online and on-air. Work with writers and on-air staff to develop story ideas, edit scripts and provide feedback. Work with field crews to manage stories, provide
graphics support, video and logistical support. Work closely with assignment desk to coordinate live shots and reporter & photographer assignments. Maintain open communication with News Director, the news
management team and all station personnel to efficiently, respectfully and professionally complete news assignments. Attend and participate in department and production meetings. Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field required. Possess three (3) years of Newsroom experience, preferably as a newscast producer. Two to three (2-3) years' experience in a medium to major television market is required. Candidates must have strong news judgement, solid
writing skills, and knowledge of current events. Must be able to think out of the box and find new ways to present information. Must be self-motivated and effectively work independently and on a team. Ability to take direction, think critically under pressure, and work professionally as part of a cohesive team and
individually within specific time constraints.

The primary function of the Promotion Writer & Producer is to create compelling and innovative promotional messages for FOX 35, FOX 51, and FOX 35 PLUS, on every platform, with a focus on excellence in writing and best-in-class production skills.
Work closely with VP Creative, Promotion Managers and the creative services team on branding and marketing strategies across all platforms. Embrace the use of process language, in writing, and sell brand distinction in special reports, news topicals and image promotion.
Develop, shoot and produce custom, creative concepts for news and weather image spot, investigative special report promos and proof of brand (POBs) spots. Develop, shoot and produce custom, news marketing messages for streaming, digital and social media platforms
Develop, shoot and produce custom, creative concepts for syndicated programming. Assist client services in the writing/producing of commercials, and other sales marketing projects when necessary. Must be skilled in shooting with cinema cameras, lighting, and editing with full Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Premiere PRO
Work with station Graphic Artist or the FTS GRAPHICS HUB to create and ensure innovative, visually interesting graphic designs. Must be a passionate self-starter who works well in a collaborative team environment. Must take initiative and present BIG ideas, utilizing generative AI and find new and innovative production techniques. Must incorporate research into projects, and handle tight deadlines. ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE FLX (Regular full time/Orlando, FL )
FOX 35 Orlando, a FOX owned & operated television station is seeking an Account Executive to generate and grow digital marketing revenue for our industry leading FLX OTT (FOX local extension) platform. The candidate will work closely with Sales Manager to achieve budgeted revenue goals and engage new advertisers. The successful candidate will have previous digital sales or marketing experience and be self-motivated to succeed. Identify new sales opportunities utilizing station research and prospecting tools. Maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified clients for the FLX (FOX Local Extension) OTT Platform. Maintain a consistent presence in the market, by presenting FLX in-person to prospects. Act as category expert, working alongside FOX linear sales teams. Steward client campaigns and work on a variety of weekly and monthly reports to develop impactful post campaign recaps and provide recommendations to further optimize client campaigns.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 2-3 years of successful experience in the digital media industry; Digital Video Advertising and/or Digital Agency/Digital Publisher experience Preferred. Broadcast and digital sales experience. Strong written/oral communications, presentations and account management skills required. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. NEWSCAST DIRECTOR (Regular full time/ Orlando, FL)
Utilize Sony ELC production automation system to direct live and recorded newscasts and programs. Prepare show rundowns by coding all necessary automation cues in iNews. Collaborate with Producers to ensure show rundowns have talent placed and cameras blocked appropriately. Monitor transmitter and iTX connectivity. Operate camera robotics, audio console and floor direct as needed. This position will be cross-trained on other technical responsibilities such as Master Control and TOC. Position will be regularly required to perform in these areas.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: A minimum of two years' experience directing and/or technical directing on-air for live news programming preferred. Experience with Sony ELC or other production automation system is a plus. Ability to operate a broad range of production equipment, including production switchers, audio consoles, camera robotics and video editing desired. Master Control experience is preferred.
